DESCRIPTION
MEX一LEX liquid ring vacuum pumps are high
vacuum single stage type with vary port valve design.
Besides simplicity and robustness, that are the main
features, other advantages are as follows:

CONSTRUCTION
MEX: The pump is fixed directly to the motor flange.
Motors are standard B3/B5 construction.
LEX: The pump is mounted on a bracket. Motors are
standard B5 construction.
Shaft supporting: for alla versions, there are two grea-
se-lubricated ball bearings.
Rotating direction: clock-wise when viewed from the
motor side.
Shaft seal: by means of a single mechanical seal
according to DIN 24960.
OPERATION
The service liquid must be continuously fed to the
pump during the operation in order to remove the heat
of compression and restore the liquid ring as part of it
is discharged with the gas.
The service liquid may be separated from the gas into
a discharge separator and recirculated, if required, by
following specific arrangements.
Normally, water is used as service liquid.
